hi! a newbie here... m1 Mac
So, according to the educational activity text, I need to replace the "WavesLicenseEngine.bundle" in Library/Awarding Support/Waves/Modules folder. Even so that "Waves" folder does not exist in Library/Application Support. There are just Waves Central and Waves Audio folders.

I'chiliad wondering what am I doing wrong... Could a friend explain how to install Waves in the starting time place?

(I've tried offline installation on Waves Central simply they were bullheaded shots..)

Install Waves.
Replace "WavesLicenseEngine.packet" in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Modules/

Run R2R KeyGen on Windows.
Input Device ID to the keygen.
You can discover the Devices and their ID at Licenses tab in WavesCentral.
Generate *.wle license.
Re-create *.wle license to

[Estimator License]
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses/

[Removable Media License]
(Device)/Waves/Licenses/

The Waves license should be an installer. It's a .pkg file.
Double click it and it will install. Restart and go to Applications/Waves/WaveShells V12 open up and the kickoff app in the list Waves AU Reg Utility.app click that and it volition browse your Waves plugs and authorize click OK.

I have exactly this trouble, I've been trying for days and it's driving me mad! Did y'all detect a solution?
Working Perfectly on M1 no bug hither.

Make sure you lot follow instructions properly,
first make clean up previous installation files in following locations:

Macintosh Hard disk / Awarding > Waves
Macintosh Hard disk drive / [Users] / Shared > Waves

so Go to ~/Library/ (using finder go to choice)

preferences > Waves preferences
Logs > Waves Sound
Caches > Waves
Caches > Waves Audio
Application support > Waves Audio

and then Go to /Library/ (this is unhidden path not exactly the aforementioned)

Application support > Waves

later on cleaning all above folders,

one.install waves central.
2.select offline installation and browse for downloaded content.
iii.select products you need to install and install.
four.later on installation is consummate replace "WavesLicenseEngine.packet" in /Library/Application Support/Waves/Modules/ (this is not a package just replace the exact file)
v.run R2R keygen on a windows computer or VM.
6.type your device id (you can find it on waves central licenses tab) and generate license.
7.re-create license file to /Library/Application Back up/Waves/Licenses/
eight.Restart calculator and open your DAW.
if you did these things correctly it should work perfectly.

keep in mind, sometimes you volition see a "folder non found" error in an installer. sometimes manually creating the folders is all you need to exercise. worst case scenario, you end up with some blank folders to delete.

Thanks for your clear replies, I really appreciate you lot taking the time. That is the procedure I'd been following then only in case I was missing something (or was just being incredibly stupid), today I've wiped my drive and done a clean install of the OS so there couldn't be any conflicts with annihilation previously installed. Then the very first affair I did was install Waves Cardinal, offline installation, choosing the products I wanted.
I nonetheless accept the same effect.

The install has created the folders:

Library/Application Back up/Waves Central
Library/Awarding Support/Waves Audio

But there's no: Library/Application Support/Waves

That folder only hasn't been created, and then there's no "WavesLicenseEngine.bundle" anywhere for me to replace.

I can't call up of anything else to try
if yous just installed plugins in that location must be a folder, check if you have plugins in your components or vst folder.
there must exist a waves folder here:

Go to Folder: /Library/Application Back up/Waves/Modules/

y'all are talking virtually the hidden library folder not the generic one. ~/Library/ is hidden one it contains the folders you mentioned
/Library/ is the one you need to go.

simply right click on the finder icon on dock. select go to binder selection. blazon /Library/ there. printing go.
so get to the awarding support folder.there must exist a waves one.

BUT, now I cannot open Waves Central at all. This permission issue came up. System Prompt for me to Let never comes upwardly...

Cleaned all things related to Waves, Uninstalled, re-installed nothing worked... Whatever Inkling? Big Sur is giving me concrete hurting..

Give full disk admission to waves central.
1. Become to system preferences > privacy & Security > Privacy Tab
ii.Click on the lock item in bottom left and enter password.
three.Click on Full Disk Admission folder and tick waves central.

Washed.

If it didn't work attempt reinstalling central, but brand sure to give access to waves primal on first offset.

Already tried all of those.. I've also contacted Waves Support, they said that it could exist M1 Silicon related issue and in that location's not much to practise...
Information technology looks like dead end to me
There are no any bug with apple silicon. My installation process went smoothly.
Yous can effort using a new admin business relationship as a terminal solution rather than a make clean install.
Simply it seems like y'all dismissed something during installation.
Simply as i mentioned early in this thread try a clean install delete all older folders. Try a fresh install and make sure to requite permission past typing your password first time. It's crucial.

I've deleted files equally you mentioned earlier. Did not ask permission & countersign. Information technology withal doesn't... I'll meet what I can do, permit me endeavour more
Waves mentioned that creating new user account with admin privileges can solve this. Maybe try that.
Because reinstalling didn't fix the result for some people.

After creating a new account reinstall key and make certain y'all allow them to make changes.

If it didn't ask for permission it might be a user business relationship issue. It too can impact other softwares.
Did you disabled gatekeeper or sip?
Do yous have whatsoever antivirus software?

For me, gatekeeper and sip are both enabled.
And make sure to update to the latest os version.

I think the last thing to try is a new admin account.

I've tried to clean install -GateKeeper Disabled- did not work. But I'm not sure what sip is?
PS: Equally far equally I recollect, I've tried new admin business relationship as well. But without gatekeeper, I'll attempt once more.

If your quondam account has permission issues it won't work and information technology can cause futurity bug.if your old files and apps are attainable on new account i recommend deleting the old ane use new one.
